research
One of the Associations core aims is to promote evidence-based practice by making research findings more accessible and supporting new studies into young people’s health.
Our key achievement in this area has been the publication of Key Data on Adolescence 2009. Key Data has provided an essential tool for practitioners for many years giving them access to a broad range of research and statistical data about young people in an accessible format. AYPH members receive a free copy of the 2009 publication and summaries of KDA can be downloaded in our resources section.
We are currently planning our bi-annual Researching Adolescent Health conference and details will be avaliable shortly through this section of the site. For details about our last Researching Adolescent Health conference click here. We are also currently working to develop a youth-led research agenda for health. If you are interested in finding out more about this work contact us.
Elaine Harris, Research and Policy officer is responsible for developing regular research updates for all members as well as a range of position papers. See details of our research updates in latest research
