Researching Adolescent Health

2nd Biennial Conference
23 October 2008, The Resource Centre, Holloway Road, London

A one-day multi-disciplinary conference for researchers and practitioners, across the UK, with an interest in adolescent health and well-being. It will provide an opportunity for participants to share their experiences of healthcare research, as well as presenting examples of innovative approaches and encouraging new ideas.

This conference is a collaboration between the Association for Young People’s Health (AYPH), the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) Adolescent Task Group, The Centre for Research in Primary and Community Care (CRIPPAC) at the University of Hertfordshire and the Trust for the Study of Adolescence (TSA).

Confirmed keynote speakers include:
Professor Roger Ingham, Director, Centre for Sexual Health Research, University of Southampton
Professor Tony Long, Chair in Child and Family Health, Centre for Nursing, Midwifery and Collaborative Research, University of Salford

The Association for Young People’s Health is pleased to be hosting this second conference which aims to further increase the dialogue between practitioners and the research community on key issues relating to the health and well-being of adolescents. Professor Fiona Brooks, Head of Adolescent and Child Health Research at CRIPPAC and Vice-Chair of AYPH will Chair the conference.
